The Army Navy Military Expo (ANME) returns to Las Vegas this August 13th – 15th at the Tuscany Suites & Casino. ANME is an order writing tradeshow offering men and women’s apparel, footwear, patriotic themed items, tactical gear, law enforcement supplies, outdoor gear, and more. David Castlegrant, ANME president tells Independent Retailer, “We are the largest B2B trade show featuring military surplus and military themed product in all of North America. Our exhibitors offer product lines that are unique and appeal to a wide variety of retail stores merchandise mix.”
This August marks the 10th anniversary of ANME. “We are working with our exhibitors, suppliers, and the venue to make this a special ANME for our attendees,” says Castlegrant. Over the years, ANME has differentiated from other shows by operating as a yearlong service and resource for buyers. “Early in our history, ANME pioneered the concept of trade show community building with our frequent email marketing messages,” continues Castlegrant. “On average we reach our attendee list three times per week, every week of the year with general information communications about our upcoming shows, product offerings from our many exhibitors, Deal of the Week and our Buy-Sell-Trade listings. This frequency of messaging has created a strong and loyal bond between our attendees and ANME. In addition to email, we are always only a telephone call or email away if a new or existing attendee has questions or suggestions”
Leading up to the show, the ANME website, www.ANMExpo.com has complete show information for both attendees and exhibitors. “The floor plan is updated daily as is the list of current exhibitors. These lists include links to exhibitor websites which can help first-time attendees get a feel for the breadth of the product line exhibited at ANME,” says Castlegrant. “Once a first-time attendee either pre-registers or signs up at our website for more information, their email address will become part of our extensive email database.”
ANME is expecting a sold-out show this August and an overall increase in attendance over last year. In addition to the August show, ANME also hosts an annual winter show every January. “ANME is a 52-week operation,” concludes Castlegrant,“Not just building and running the show. There is always someone in our office to respond to pre or post show related inquiries.” For more information and to register visit www.ANMExpo.com.
