IGES International Gift Expo in the SmokiesAs helpful as online trade shows have been during the COVID-19 pandemic, nothing beats the real deal. In-person trade shows make for personable connections with suppliers, seeing the merchandise firsthand, and tons of fun exploring.

The International Gift Expo of the Smokies is scheduled to take place this November in Tennessee, allowing for a great shopping opportunity for next year’s styles and just to get out and about. This trade show is one of the most popular resort, souvenir, and specialty gift shows in America. IGES isn’t just a trade show, it’s a vacation experience and business trip all in one.

The Perfect Place for Resorts & Gift Shops

IGES takes place every November in the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, Tennessee. Due to COVID-19, the November show will only be taking place in Pigeon Forge this year, from November 4-7. Each fall, approximately 5,000 buyers in the travel and tourism industries come from the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean to shop more than 550 vendors in order to find high-quality, original products to sell in their gift shops. IGES vendors offer the most comprehensive selection of merchandise available to souvenir, resort, and gift buyers.

From name-drop to fully customizable and everything in between, IGES is where destination, resort and tourism buyers come to shop. From museums and zoos to theme parks and hotels, IGES buyers will find everything their stores need amongst all of the show’s specialized vendors. Product categories include best-selling brands, new products, destination merchandise, souvenirs, beachwear, and so much more.

Buyers Will Get Their Money’s Worth

IGES includes four days of special events, including association meetings, cocktail receptions and networking dinners. A complimentary shuttle service is available for buyers to attend other Tennessee gift shows staging at the same time, so you’ll be able to experience everything there is to offer in the state. Other buyer amenities include free on-site parking, area lodging discounts, complimentary buyer breakfasts, drawings for free lodging, cash prizes, and more!

With IGES staging only at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, they are in constant contact with the LeConte Center team. Additionally, in an effort to decrease the number of shuttle rides buyers must take to multiple locations, IGES is working in conjunction with the Smoky Mountain Gift Show to ensure both shows are as safe and convenient as possible for the community.
