SJT Enterprises, a gift and novelty supplier since 1985, recently acquired licensing of artist Dean Russo. Russo is based out of Brooklyn, NY. He is known for using vibrant colors and bold, abstract patterns to give a unique voice to his favorite subject: animals. SJT is utilizing Russo’s artwork on their best-selling wooden plaques. The plaques are all made in the U.S.A. and 7″ x 10.5″ in size. Wholesale pricing is $4.50 each. “Dean’s artwork is a huge seller on t-shirts and many other products,” explains SJT president Tim Smith. “I showed some plaques with his artwork at the recent Global Pet Expo wholesale show in Orlando and the response was amazing. So many retailers recognized his artwork immediately. He has an amazing following and I know these will sell very well.” SJT also plans to offer wood magnets featuring Russo’s artwork in the near future.
