With over 75,000 square feet of exhibiting space on one floor, The Merchandise Center is the largest permanent collection of housewares, name brand closeouts and general merchandise wholesalers in the country. The next TMC event will be held from May 12 – 14, 2020 in Schiller Park, IL, just outside of Chicago.
Mark Passis and his family have been bringing together the closeout and general merchandise industry since the 1940’s. The show that was once held in hotels, and later convention centers, has found a purpose-built permanent showroom building, known as TMC. It’s the perfect trade show for retailers to get the products they need to fill their shelves at closeout prices.

Some of the top retail chains shop from TMC, and for good reasons. Over 90 exhibitors come to showcase their products, with categories ranging from housewares and home improvement to electronics and party supplies. Whatever retailers are looking for, TMC is sure to have it.
World Class Treatment
Visitors at the TMC show are treated with first class service. Breakfast & Lunch
A tasty catered breakfast and lunch will be served to all buyers during each show day. The TMC cafe will also be open throughout the show for any midday snacks. Breakfast will be available from 8am – 10am each day, and lunch will be served from 11:30am – 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, lunch will close an hour early, serving until 12pm.
