Parker Trade Shows, founded over 30 years ago by Craig and Margaret Parker, is the premier destination for wholesale jewelry, gifts, and accessories. Event Show Management, subsidiary of Show Technology Productions, a team of trade and consumer show industry professionals, is the new owner of the Parker shows. Steve Pichichero, CEO of Show Technology Productions, says “We quickly became friends with Craig and Margaret Parker, and they decided Event Show Management would be a perfect fit to carry on their legacy. We are very grateful and humbled to be given this opportunity to carry on a show with a 30-year history.” The Parker shows have always had a reputation for making their vendors feel like family. Pichichero and his team are looking to expand on this reputation, and continue to bring in more high-quality vendors.
The expertise of both parties guarantees retailers an exciting show and a unique perspective. Parker strives to be the best show possible, consistently supplying retailers with the latest and best selling trends at affordable wholesale prices by constantly sourcing new wholesalers, manufacturers, and importers for their shows. “We pride ourselves on customer service, we are known for our attention to detail, producing high-quality events, and utilizing a very comprehensive high tech marketing campaign,” explains Pichichero. In addition to new vendors and new marketing, the show layout is also receiving a makeover. Pichichero and his team will be adding a fashion runway to the show, and reorganizing the show floor to create a bigger, better experience.
Their next show, March 18th – 20th is being held at the San Antonio Event Center in San Antonio, Texas. Like all of Parker’s events, admission is exclusive to proven retailers. They are expecting around 9,000 buyers, and 250 exhibitors, many of which are Parker Trade Show regulars. Parking and admission is free to all qualified attendees. Advanced registration is recommended for speedy entry. The show is cash and carry, allowing retailers to walk out with their purchases that day. Jewelry styles range from classic to contemporary, with guaranteed high quality. “We intend to do the Parkers proud and grow these shows into something quite unlike the other grand markets around the country,” says Pichichero.
