This August, Seattle Gift Show and Urban Expositions partners with Seattle Made and a brand new gourmet product section — Northwest Flavors. Together with the show’s popular features, including Makers’ Market, Urban Craft Uprising Pavilion, the Seattle Mart partnership and others, the newest initiatives give Northwest retailers even more ways to make their stores stand out.
“We are very excited about our new partnership with Seattle Made,” says Shashin Patel, show director, Seattle Gift Show | Urban Expositions. “Like our partnership with Urban Craft Uprising, the Seattle Gift Show’s joint effort with Seattle Made is designed to support and strengthen local businesses by providing a cost-effective, convenient way for local manufacturers and artisans to connect with local and regional retailers.”
“The Seattle Gift Show’s Northwest Flavors section offers a great entry point for our gourmet food members to introduce their lines to regional retailers,” adds Andrea Porter, program coordinator, Seattle Made. “We look forward to kicking off this new partnership in August and working together to find even more ways to build new business growth opportunities for our members.”
In addition to these new initiatives, attending retailers will find a host of other show features, including:
Artisan Alley
Making its debut during the Winter 2018 edition, Artisan Alley joins the August show’s growing Makers’ Market selection with curated tabletop displays from emerging artisans throughout the region.
Makers’ Market Section & Urban Craft Uprising Pavilion
Retailers will find even more handcrafted, one-of-a-kind designs and Northwest accents from the show’s popular handmade Makers’ Market section and pavilion of artists from Seattle’s largest indie craft show – Urban Craft Uprising.
Co-Hosting Seattle Market Week
The Seattle Gift Show comes together with the permanent showrooms of the Seattle Mart to present Seattle Market Week. The Seattle Mart will host its summer market from August 15-20, 2018. The building houses the Northwest’s premier permanent showrooms representing a wide range of product lines from locally manufactured to national brands. These offerings, along with the many lines and new resources at the Seattle Gift Show, give the region’s retailers a comprehensive, convenient and cost-effective shopping experience. What’s more, one badge gives buyers access to both venues and complimentary shuttle service will also be provided.
