billBill McNulty, publisher of Independent Retailer magazine, explores concrete ways retail store owners can tap into the Buy Local movement to maximize store sales, in his presentation, “How to Capitalize on the Buy Local Movement to Increase Traffic, Customers & Sales in Your Stores.” McNulty spoke Tuesday, March 19, at ASD Las Vegas, sharing proven tactics businesses can use to motivate Millennials, Gen Xers, Boomers and Silents to shop. Buy Local is the most important movement to affect retailers and their communities in decades, as $77 of $100 spent in local stores goes back to the community. Only $38 of $100 spent in national retail shops stays local.
