CKB Products launched in 1997 and today stocks more than 4,000 different products. According to VP Jason Barton, the company’s line of flasks, which can be engraved or wrapped, is its number-one seller. “Wrapping is a process very few people offer,” he notes. “I don’t know of anyone in the wholesale industry that offers a full wrap that goes full color front and back on a flask.” Being ever versatile, the company recently introduced a flask that is also a belt buckle. “We have started customizing a lot of our products and putting color graphics on our flasks,” Barton points out. The company bought a digital printer at a cost of about $25,000 and it can buy different materials for that printer to print on. It selects certain materials to print on the flasks, others to print on leather and others to print on umbrellas, for example. One of the advantages of this is that CKB Products can print millions of colors and logos. The goal is to help customers, Barton stresses, so CKB Products offers customization on any product from any source. “If someone finds a product that they would like customized, we will find a way to customize it for them.”
There is no minimum order at CKB Products. Although it is a wholesale distributor with tiered pricing, it accommodates orders from one to 10,000 pieces. Prices on its products range from under $1 to just over $100 for items such as leather jackets.
