Discreet Patch Deters Bugs

What could be worse than the oily feel and pungent smell of bug deterrents and insecticides currently on the market? The chance of mosquitoes, fleas or bed bugs biting and possibly infecting with disease is enough to convince people that today’s insecticides are their only option. However, The Warehouse Depot believes there is a better alternative, one that doesn’t require the use of DEET, a common active ingredient in insect repellents. “Insecticides are highly toxic. Prolonged use of DEET kills neurons in the human brain that control muscle movement, memory, concentration and learning,” notes Dan Chapman, vice president of sales and marketing. “The Discreet Patch is a thiamine formula (vitamin B1) transdermal patch, and while its main objective is to deter bugs from feeding, it has other healthy benefits as well.”

Vitamin Patch Repells Bugs and Repairs Health

Users are instructed to apply the patch to a clean, dry and hairless area of the body, two hours before needed. “Most people wear it on their waist, below the belt line. Frequent use may require changing locations so that the adhesive doesn’t become an irritant,” says Chapman. Once securely in place, the 1.5” by 1.5” translucent patch protects for up to 36 hours, no matter what the circumstance, including swimming and bathing. Mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide that leaves your body when you exhale or perspire, but with the Discreet Patch the vitamin B1 causes a pheromone on your skin that is released over time, keeping blood-sucking bugs away.

Making the purchasing process simple, Discreet Patch comes in a pack of 10 or 20 and can be ordered online. While bulk pricing is available with a purchase of 100,000, retailers can expect a discounted price on the $9.95 10-pack and the $17.95 20-pack, if they are looking to keep the purchase quantity small. Profit margins will vary depending on the intended use, as the patch is marketed for its other healthy benefits such as energy revitalization, hangover remedy, and more. Keystone margins and higher can be expected.

While relief from pesky bugs has driven testimonial after testimonial, it is the other benefits of thiamine that will help in the ongoing resale of Discreet Patch. Vitamin B1 helps the body to convert food into fuel, which is burned in the cells to produce energy. It is also considered an anti-stress vitamin and memory loss preventative, among other things. Nearly 30 healthful effects can be found at www.thewarehousedepot.com.
