T-shirts are a $24 billion business in the U.S. and Canada, accounting for sales of about 1.5 billion T-shirts and similar items, according to a recent report. They are number one sellers in many types of retail outlets. Boulder Canyon Apparel LLC, owned by Matt and Pamela Franklin, features a large assortment of T-shirts and other clothing with unique designs. With 20 years of experience in resort wear sales and retail, and more than ten years of screen-printing expertise, the team performs all design and printing functions in its Glendale, AZ factory.
Wildlife to Route 66
Boulder Canyon Apparel has a selection of more than 5,000 designs, from conservative to current. “We choose our designs based on the trends and what we think will be popular sellers for our customers,” states Matt Franklin. “We are tuned in to what celebrities are wearing and what is selling in the malls, and we translate that into what works for the resort wear market. Purple is the hot color now, and we expect it to continue to be strong in spring and summer.” Boulder Canyon Apparel is known for its custom, hand drawn artwork and illustrations. “We have a little bit of everything, including realistic wildlife such as elk, moose and bears,” Franklin continues. We also have custom designed layouts that include mountains, southwest, zoo and coastal themes. We have a very popular line of designs around Route 66, which is the famous highway that runs from Chicago to California. Our large variety of merchandise options meets the needs of any store owner.” The company has three generations of roots in the souvenir and gift industry, and specializes in programs for national park concessionaires, airports, zoos and family retail stores.
