The largest continuing education event for sophisticated Amazon Sellers is co-locating with ASD MarketWeek later this month at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The PROSPER Show, which will be held March 21st – 23rd, 2017 is a conference for Amazon industry insiders. The event focuses on sharing best practices, education, and research materials with professional online sellers to help them take their profitable businesses to the next level. James Thomson, co-founder of PROSPER Show and former head of AmazonServices.com says the conference is designed for “Sellers looking to go from five million in sales to twenty million. Over half of our attendee base does over one million in sales per year.”
The conference features ex-Amazon leaders, Amazon marketplace solution providers, attorneys, and other experts who can provide high-level insight and growth strategies. “This conference is ideal for the Amazon seller seeking how to build their business more profitably. Our content is for already established Amazon sellers,” continues Thomson. Thomson and co-founder Joseph Hansen created PROSPER Show after traveling to other online seller shows and being frustrated by their deceiving nature and frequent sales pitches. “Many times speakers were paying for the right to be on stage, conflicts of interest weren’t disclosed, and not all points of view were being represented,” Thomson explains. “There was no good forum for sellers to learn and grow. The people we bring to our PROSPER Show specialize in and understand topics better than anyone else. We make sure every speaker is providing real value to attendees.”
Last year, PROSPER Show, held in Salt Lake City, sold out months in advance. For 2017, the show is co-locating with ASD MarketWeek to expand their venue and offer conference-goers the added value of attending the wholesale order-writing show. “Over 50 percent of our attendees for this year have already registered for ASD and SourceDirect,” says Thomson. In addition to the new convenient location, PROSPER has added a “Stump the Ex-Amazonians” session to answer the toughest questions about Amazon and a day of “graduate level” workshops. The workshops, held on Tuesday, March 21st, are “intensive two and a half to three-hour sessions for people who recognize they need more information,” says Thomson. “The workshops are really a high-level discussion, a few steps above the general sessions being held on Wednesday and Thursday. They are meant to be a small audience to really deliver high value to participants.”
The general sessions that span March 22nd – 23rd cover a wide range of topics including Amazon sponsored products, accounting best practices, Amazon SEO, customer review strategies, outsourcing, and much more including sessions designated for private label sellers and advanced sellers. The main goal of PROSPER Show is “education first,” says Thomson. “It takes a lot of discipline to be successful on Amazon and there are no silver bullets.” For more information and to register for PROSPER Show, visit www.ProsperShow.com.
