The leading wholesaler and supplier brands gathered at ASD Las Vegas from August 8-11. ASD Las Vegas had nearly 45,000 attendees, consisting of over 2,000 buyers from 88 countries, and a 12.61 percent buyer attendance increase from Mexico and Central and South America, compared to August 2009.
“With the addition of new programs and many new exhibitors, this year’s ASD Las Vegas was incredibly successful,” said Christopher McCabe, Vice President of Nielsen Expositions. “Our exhibitors report increased sales over prior years, and it is our hope that we can continue to provide them with an ideal destination for sourcing new products in the gift, toy, and health and beauty categories, to help grow their businesses.”
New to the show this year was an increased focus on style and beauty, with the ASD Beauty Oasis located in the center of the convention floor, featuring lush lounges and new beauty treatments. International products were sourced directly from the China Brand Showcase, which had over 400 distributors from China.
