Boost Fuel Saver, a fuel, horsepower and performance improvement product, is now available for diesel, gasoline and bio-fuel engines. Distributed by Boost Fuel Saver Products Company, the product is a unique blend of oil soluble organometallics. When added to gasoline or diesel fuel, Boost Fuel Saver increases fuel economy up to 10 percent or more, and reduces carbon build-up and carbon related maintenance problems, as well as harmful emissions by as much as 60 to 90 percent. Regular use of Boost Fuel Saver, when combined with scheduled maintenance, allows for optimum results in engine performance. Everyone with a car, truck, commercial vehicle, RV, boat, motorcycle and more is a potential customer, making Boost Fuel Saver an ideal product for sales at many types of independent retail stores.
Independent auto parts stores are a great place to sell the product, says Kelly Brooks, president. “Snow Auto Parts in Lincoln, Nebraska began selling Boost Fuel Saver in April of 2012, and product is being restocked every 30 days on average.” Boost Fuel Saver fuel packs with tear off tops treat up to 40 gallons of gasoline or diesel fuel. They retail for $3 apiece and wholesale for $1.50. The distributor price is $1, and when buyers purchase five cases, or 1,750 fuel packs, the price drops to $.90 per pack. Fuel packs come with an optional point of purchase display which holds 20 pieces, and sells for a nominal price. Concentrated half pint bottles which treat up to 640 gallons retail for $39.90, wholesale for $19.90, and the distributor price is $14.90. Boost also is available in full pint, gallon and 55 gallon drum sizes. The minimum order is 350 for the fuel packs and 12 for the half-pint bottle.
The history of the product goes back nearly 60 years, as it was the first multi-purpose diesel fuel treatment developed, Brooks explains. “In mining operations, for example, diesel engines run about 15,000 hours, and then they go through a maintenance check and the cylinder walls have to be relined. With our product, they don’t even do the engine check until the engine runs 25,000 hours, so you can see they are getting a lot more life out of their engines with our product.” Boost Fuel Saver was recently approved for use in gasoline as well.
In addition to extending engine life, Boost Fuel Saver saves money. For example, a 10 percent savings on 20 gallons of fuel costing $3.50 a gallon would equal $7. When filling your tank once a week, that amounts to $350 in annual savings; and an over-the-road trucker who drives about 10,000 miles per month, getting about six miles per gallon, would use 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel per year. A 10 percent reduction in fuel use would save 2,000 gallons of diesel, which at about $4 a gallon equates to $8,000 annually. Boost Fuel Saver is registered with the EPA. Users should allow five to eight treatments to obtain maximum benefits. The manufacturer recommends a double dose for the first two to three treatments or more.
