Boxed Foil Greeting Cards Made in the USAGreeting cards are an inexpensive and popular gift item year round, and especially so for occasions such as birthdays, weddings, new babies and graduations, as well as to send get well and sympathy messages. Greeting cards made in the USA are particularly sought after, and Fantus Paper Products, a division of P.S. Greetings, Inc., has an extensive line of American made cards that generate high revenues for retailers.

High quality, low cost

The company’s boxed greeting card assortments are top sellers, and the 12 count foil boxes do extremely well, says Don Wilkin, national sales manager. “This is a heavier card stock with very nice foil enhancements, and we have several popular assortments, including a birthday collection.” Many customers like to start out with Fantus Paper Products’ general assortment, he adds, which has a little bit of everything, including get well, sympathy, all occasion, friendship and blank note cards. “The 12 foil stamped cards come in a nice wrapped box, and I get emails every day from people asking me where they can buy this product,” Wilkin reports. They sell for $1.05 per box in a case lot of 36, and volume discounts are available. The 12 count foil boxes are delivered in an easy to pop up shelf display. They retail for $1.99 per box, or two boxes for $3.

As a manufacturer of inexpensive greeting cards for more than 60 years, Fantus Paper Products continues to grow. “We are the last boxed greeting card company in the USA. Our greeting cards are manufactured in our Chicago, IL facility, and we do everything we can to compete with people who import greeting cards. We continually evaluate our resources to buy product smartly to keep costs down. The response we get on our cards from retailers who are looking for products made in the USA is amazing. We take a lot of pride in what we do and it is very rewarding,” Wilkin shares.

Buying details

Fantus Paper Products’ minimum purchase is $100. Inventory is kept current, and the firm sends out orders within three business days. The company will ship to customers’ freight accounts to further help them reduce costs. Retailers and volume distributors can visit Fantus Paper Products’ website to view product information, but pricing may vary from that shown on the site as it is dependent on volume.
