Label Printer“My dad, Dean Jaymes, started the company in 1974,” says Kimberly Walls of D.C. Jaymes & Co. “He started with some pricing guns and sold a lot of barware like corkscrews and church keys. He just kept adding to the line as customers asked for different items. Eventually, he dropped the novelty items and concentrated on store supplies.”

Over forty years later, D.C. Jaymes is still offering quality supplies to independent retailers nationwide. “We sell a lot of pricing guns and labels,” says Walls. “We carry all the best brands and offer a lot of label choices. Our bar code printers are also a favorite item.”

The business specializes in small, utilitarian labels for retailers and wholesalers. However, most customers purchase all of their pricing materials from the same source. “Our regulars buy a combination of items from us such as pricing guns, bar code labels, and tagging equipment,” continues Walls. “Depending on what kind of store a first time buyer owns, in addition to getting a good, dependable pricing gun and labels, we recommend barbs and tags if they have clothing. Also some merchandising cards to attract customers’ attention to certain items.”

D.C. Jaymes & Company has maintained a steady and growing client base for their family business over the past few decades because of their flexible customer service. “I like to think that our customer service is theD.C. Jaymes and Company best,” explains Walls. “My employees are wonderful and we try to be as helpful as we can.”

There is no order minimum; so any and all retailers can test out D.C. Jaymes. Free ground shipping is available for continental U.S. orders over $150. Orders ship same or next say via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Catalogues are available upon request, in addition to limited sample packs.

If you are attending ASD Marketweek July 31st – August 3rd 2016, be sure to visit D.C. Jaymes & Co. in the Business Solutions section located in Central Hall.
