04Mar13_GM-3Vibrant, flowing and feminine clothing and accessories are in style this season, according to Dimple Mahajan, CEO of Mad Styles, a new clothing and accessory online wholesale shop. Mad Styles accommodates a variety of price points, selling both high end and affordable lines of long and short sleeve tops, halters and tanks, jeans and leggings, dresses, belts, jewelry and scarves. Mahajan also owns the wholesale website, Treasures & Treasures, which offers an extensive line of handbags, as well as accessories including jewelry.

“I’ve been in the wholesale fashion business for more than 20 years, and I’m experienced at spotting and selling trendy merchandise,” Mahajan shares. “We launched Mad Styles to expand our collection of jewelry, and we added a large line of fashion forward apparel. Right now, it’s all about bold prints and bright solids, and scarves are really popular.” Tops that resemble scarves with asymmetrical hems, rhinestone appliqués and sheer racer backs are also selling well, and come in neutral, turquoise and red backgrounds with black patterning. Mad Styles’ affordable clothing generally wholesales for $8 to $15, and its better line wholesales for up to $20.

People are accessorizing their outfits with more jewelry this year, and bracelets of all kinds are hot sellers, Mahajan adds. “The chunky statement bracelets and necklaces are trending.” Mad Styles has a huge assortment of statement necklaces, made of various materials such as metal, beads and stones, available in brilliant colors and bold shapes. They generally wholesale for $5 to $6. “Our high end jewelry is selling really well because many people like the quality, and with the economy, some people prefer the more affordable jewelry. We like to give our customers a choice, so they can cater to their buyers.”

Retailers can register online and log in to get specific wholesale pricing, and retail is at least two times wholesale, Mahajan notes. “We want our new products to sell, just like the handbags we’ve been doing for 20 years. Our prices are very reasonable, and we offer plenty of discounts.” Mad Styles’ minimum order is $100, and the company offers discounts of three to seven percent, based on order dollar amount. Ground service shipping is free within the continental U.S. on orders over $200. For retailers who want to see Mad Styles’ and Treasures & Treasures’ merchandise up close, Mahajan invites them to visit her 5,000 square foot showroom in Atlanta, GA. “We’re in the wholesale district in Atlanta, and we always know what is the latest fashion,” she points out. “We’ve been there since 1999.”
