Tricks of the Trade: IGES Returns for 18th Show in the Smokies

September 5, 2017 by Publisher

IGESFounded in 2001, IGES is an annual gift show in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, TN. The trade show is a fan-favorite and draws many retailers from Tennessee and nationwide year after year. The five-day show is also much loved among trade organizations. Many groups such as the Zoo & Aquarium Gift Buyers Association (ZAG) hold their annual member meeting at this show. IGES is also an official sponsor of the National Cave Association (NCA), American Zoo Association (AZA), and Museum Store Association (MSA).

This favorite Tennessee show brings together thousands of industry professionals to view and shop more than 1,200 booths of souvenir, gift, toy, gourmet, personal care, resort, apparel, novelty, and collectible merchandise, including many Made in USA and handmade products. The IGES souvenir gift show is a can’t-miss for retailers in the industry looking for top-quality items at wholesale prices. With countless opportunities for networking, many retailers and past attendees have created long-lasting relationships while finding new suppliers exhibiting at the show.

IGES includes five days of special events, spanning free educational roundtables, association meetings, cocktail receptions and networking dinners. A complimentary shuttle service is available for buyers to attend both the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge locations as well as other Tennessee gift shows staging at the same time. This trade-only event happens just once a year and is simply not to be missed. Retailers large and small are welcomed to join IGES and Emerald Expositions as the show celebrates its 18th year in the Smoky Mountains.
