The ASD Las Vegas Style & Beauty Show, taking place August 3-6 is one of the largest fashion accessories shows in the USA. The segment is located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center and showcases over 750 companies exhibiting across 200,000 net square feet. Independent Retailer spoke with Darnell Botts, Show Director, Style & Beauty/Jewelry, on what buyers can expect to see at the upcoming show.
Ask OFFPRICE CEO Stephen Krogulski to define the OFFPRICE apparel shows in a few words, and it takes less than a second: “Fashionable, order-writing, value focused, and for the entire family.” For the last 40 years, OFFPRICE has staged one of the country’s largest discount apparel shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.
One question consistently asked by smaller retailers is “How can we increase our margins?” While this topic is universal across all retailers regardless of size, it is especially relevant for smaller sellers that may not have the resources to purchase products in large enough volumes in order to gain economies of scale.
Parker Trade Shows is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary, which is great news for Southwest retailers. Growing from a single show, today Parker Trade Shows hosts four trade shows every year, with exhibitors in everything from fine jewelry to apparel, home goods, fashion bags, and handmade crafts. The next show is June 27–29 at the San Antonio Event Center.
Both the February and August OFFPRICE Show’s placed in the top 200 in the Trade Show News Network’s (TSNN) prestigious Top 250 Trade Shows in the US rankings. The rankings list the top 250 trade shows in the country based on net-square-footage. The February 2013 show ranked 159 (131,000 NSF), while the August ‘13 show checked-in at 165 (125,000 NSF). In 2012, the show’s ranked 163 in February and 164 in August.
For 27 years, Norton’s Apparel, Jewelry, and Gift Market has been all about the personal touch. That is sure to be the case once again June 7-9, when the all-season wholesale market returns to its home base, the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Miami International Mart in Miami Gardens, FL brings together retail buyers and leading distributors of thousands of products from across the U.S. Held four times a year, the remaining 2014 show dates are April 6-8, June 22-24, and September 7-9. The first show in 2015 is scheduled for January 25-27.
The Norton Shows’ upcoming wholesale trade show will be held March 15-17 in Tennessee’s state-of-the-art Gatlinburg Convention Center. Since 1987, the shows have been the go-to wholesale market for apparel, jewelry and gifts, drawing attendees from all 50 U.S. states, Canada, Central and South America, and the Caribbean Islands.
The ASD Las Vegas trade show, now in its 53rd year, will be held March 16-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. More than 2,800 exhibitors and 45,000 attendees are expected to attend.
